Trust, verification & safety

A clear explanation of what THAKBO reviews, what it does not verify and how to stay safer when renting.

Listing approval is not ownership verification

A listing may be reviewed before publication for completeness, policy and suitability. This review does not prove the owner's identity, property ownership or legal authority to rent the property.

Verification claims are deliberately limited

THAKBO currently does not claim that a phone number, national ID, deed or physical property visit has been independently verified. If verification levels are introduced later, their exact scope, reviewer and date will be stated separately.

Contact feedback is a signal, not proof

User contact feedback helps administrators decide what to review. A single report or feedback entry does not by itself prove fraud and does not automatically remove a listing.

Verify independently before paying

Visit the property where practical, check the owner's or authorised representative's identity, clarify rent and extra charges in writing, and obtain a receipt. Never send an advance payment before checking the place or under pressure.

Report anything suspicious

Use the listing's Report feature or the Contact page if details are wrong, a number does not work, the place is already rented or something seems suspicious. Never post identity documents, passwords, bank details or private records in public comments.

THAKBO is an accommodation discovery platform, not a legal, financial or property-title verification service. Pause the transaction if anything seems uncertain.
